On November 4, Rongsheng Machinery Manufacture Ltd. of Huabei Oilfield, Hebei (HBRS), made an impressive appearance at the 2024 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) held in the United Arab Emirates, showcasing its latest proprietary innovations and advanced technologies.
At the event, HBRS adopted a unique “on-site exhibits + multimedia interaction” display approach, highlighting a selection of the company’s self-developed technological advancements, including a 140 MPa blowout preventer assembly, high-temperature rubber components, and a newly structured shear ram. These innovative products offered clients an immersive experience to comprehensively understand HBRS’s cutting-edge technology and diversified product offerings, attracting considerable interest and engagement from international oil and gas companies and overseas clients alike.
As a globally leading manufacturer of land-based blowout preventers, HBRS is committed to positioning itself as a renowned company in the global oil equipment manufacturing industry. Pursuing a brand-driven development strategy, HBRS has focused on establishing a “dual-center” growth model—domestically centered in North China and internationally centered in the Middle East. In line with this strategy, HBRS established subsidiaries in Houston, USA, in 2011, and Dubai, UAE, in 2023, with additional offices in Russia and Oman, as well as overseas spare parts warehouses in the UAE and Kuwait. These moves have supported the creation of an extensive global sales network spanning Asia, Africa, and Europe, enhancing HBRS’s international recognition and reputation. This year, with the recovery of global markets, HBRS has further expanded its presence abroad, achieving an 11.46% increase in export orders in the first half of the year compared to the previous year. Middle Eastern orders, in particular, accounted for nearly 70% of total exports, reflecting significant growth in this key region. Moving forward, HBRS will continue to innovate its “manufacturing + service” model, intensify its efforts in the Middle Eastern market, and expand globally to contribute to the energy sector’s innovation and development.
ADIPEC, recognized as one of the three major global oil and gas industry events, attracted over 2,200 exhibitors from more than 160 countries and regions this year. With the theme “Decarbonizing. Faster. Together,” the event emphasized artificial intelligence (AI) and the sustainable energy transition, presenting cutting-edge industry technologies and serving as a key platform to observe future trends in global energy.
