Rongsheng's Provincial Technology Innovation Center Receives "Excellent" Rating in Performance Evaluation

Recently, the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology announced the results of the 2023 annual performance evaluation for provincial-level technology innovation centers. The "Hebei Well Control and Wellhead Equipment Technology Innovation Center," established by Rongsheng, was awarded the "Excellent" rating.

The Hebei Well Control and Wellhead Equipment Technology Innovation Center was incorporated into the provincial R&D platform construction series in 2016 and officially settled in Rongsheng after passing the acceptance test in 2017. This platform aims to enhance the innovation capability of the oil drilling equipment manufacturing industry and boost the core competitiveness of enterprises. It was jointly established with top teams from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and other universities as an engineering research and development platform. This year, 987 units from across the province participated in the evaluation, with 95 receiving the "Excellent" rating. Among these, two companies in Cangzhou were recognized as "Excellent."

In recent years, Rongsheng has continuously advanced the construction of its technology innovation center, steadily increasing R&D investments and reinforcing applied basic research. The company is dedicated to original and leading-edge technological breakthroughs, integrating frontier technologies with field applications to solve key technical challenges. Products such as ultra-high-temperature and ultra-high-pressure blowout preventers, wellhead manifolds, electro-hydraulic controls, and under-pressure operation equipment have been successfully developed and applied, providing strong momentum for industry advancement and high-quality enterprise growth. By adhering to a problem-solving approach, the company has focused on addressing design, process, production, and user challenges, enhancing design and manufacturing levels, and improving product stability and reliability. It actively strives to create high-end products with a certain degree of international recognition. Furthermore, the company has emphasized intellectual property (IP) strategy planning and has significantly improved its capabilities in IP creation, utilization, protection, and management. Rongsheng has actively led and participated in the formulation and revision of national, industry, and group standards, securing the highest level of discourse and technological leadership within the industry. To date, the company has contributed to or participated in the formulation and revision of 28 international, national, and industry standards and holds 53 valid patents, including 20 invention patents.
