On August 31, Rongsheng Company re-conducted API-16A PR2 EFF test and verification of the ultra-high pressure ram BOP rubber core independently developed three years ago, this rubber core product that has been repeatedly improved and optimized many times not only successfully passed the temperature verification of the international industry standard -1 ℃ to 177 ℃, but also created the highest record of high temperature resistance of the rubber core of the domestic ram BOP at the standard limit of 205 ℃ with excellent performance indicators.
In recent years, with the continuous efforts in the drilling and development of onshore and offshore oil and shale gas, there have been more and more deep and ultra-deep wells for oil and gas exploration, and the market demand for "three high" BOP rubber cores of high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, and hydrogen sulfide resistance has also increased. To meet the technical requirements of rubber materials in various working conditions, Rongsheng Company has conducted in-depth research and assiduous research on rubber formulations and structural design of rubber parts to solve such problems as increased fluidity of rubber under high temperature and high pressure, seal failure caused by easy loss during extrusion, etc. by relying on its own scientific research and technical strength. After a large number of formula materials selection and nearly 100 experiments, the "formula" of plastic parts that broke the record of the highest temperature in China was successfully developed. Meanwhile, the company designed reasonable rubber core mold structure by means of precise calculation based on finite element analysis and other technical means, and adopted unique rubber vulcanization and internal mixing process to effectively solve the problems of rubber loss under high temperature and high pressure, which fully meets the working conditions of high temperature, high pressure and high corrosion, and breaks the foreign technology monopoly, installing the "Chinese core" for the ultra-high pressure ram BOP in the domestic "three high" oil and gas exploitation blocks.
At present, Rongsheng Company has developed more than 40 kinds of rubber seals for ram BOPs with different temperature grades to meet the needs of severe and complex working conditions including high pressure, high temperature, and hydrogen sulfide in onshore deep wells and offshore drilling, effectively promoting the process of localization of high-level ram BOP rubber cores in China.
