Rongsheng Machinery Manufacture Ltd. of Huabei Oilfield, Hebei, founded in 1976, has become a comprehensive petroleum machinery manufacturer integrated with product researching, development and manufacturing, equipment integration and supporting, and engineering services.
It is the world's leading manufacturer of land BOP in production and sales, and class A supplier of CNPC drilling and workover BOPs.

To meet the needs of the North China Oilfield Campaign, the former Ministry of Petroleum transferred 303 employees from the Lanzhou Refinery Machinery Factory to the North China Oilfield to establish the "North China Petroleum Campaign Command Oilfield Headquarters Mechanical Repair Factory".
With the establishment of the North China Petroleum Administration Bureau and the dismantling of the oil field headquarters, it was renamed "North China Petroleum Administration Oil Production Plant Mechanical Repair Plant".
It was separated from the oil production plant and became a secondary unit of the North China Petroleum Administration Bureau, and was renamed "North China Petroleum Administration Comprehensive Machinery Repair Plant".
The company was renamed "North China Petroleum Administration Second Machinery Factory".
